unmotivated

with a house of semi-sick kids and self, motivation is hard to find. It's not like we are sick sick sick, like some people.... thankfully. And I pray for those that are way sick, but when u your head feels all foggy and stuffed up it's hard to do anything.

So I am trying to stay positive. Find joy in the little things. like snuggling up in bed and reading a book cover to cover in 2.5 days! lol (granted it had to be returned in a weeks time from when I checked it out, so I did have some motivation to get through it) snuggling in bed with the kids, listening to their silly stories and even their bickering. lol AND getting a little more sleep to help fight this away! Be gone sickness I don't have time for your extended stay! ;)

Day 6--- behind again

I think I may have been crazy to think I could keep up on a blog! ha ha ha 
I am behind on the 30 day Challenge again! Oh well.... If I wasn't behind then that wouldn't be me would it. lol

Day 06 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day


I guess I can't post a picture.... (maybe I should have read these challenges before deciding to do it.) 
There isn't anyone I would trade a day with. I love being ME... I love my family, kids, hubby... why would I trade with someone? 


Some people would say what about a celebrity.... honestly I wouldn't even want to trade with them. 


So I guess I am just no fun.... lol ... I don't want to trade place with anyone.

Back on track....

Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory.

This was just the other day. We got to spend the afternoon with my brother and my mom exploring Fort Casey out on Whidbey Island. 

I am behind!

So my 30 day challenged had a wee little break. My mom came from Oregon Friday morning and then we booked it up to Whidbey to go spend the day with my brother before he took off back home. The rest of the weekend was full of time with my mom....

On a side note, we had our little Christmas time with my mom and she got me a sewing machine! I am so thrilled! I have been wanting one for so long! now that I have a sewing machine, I am stuck where I should start! I guess I should start with my jean quilts.... I have been collecting them for many many years but never put a quilt together. : /  Now is the time I suppose. :)

Day 4 is a bit of a Challenge.


Day 04 - A picture of your favorite night.


I don't think I have a picture of my favorite night, let alone something to comes to mind as my favorite night. Yes me, picture crazy doesn't have a picture of my favorite night. Hmmm... 


Off to look through some pictures. 


That's a very difficult thing to do. Being married for almost 15 years and have 3 kiddos, there have been many favorite nights. 


But nights I just love are night the sun reveals amazing color as it sets. I am always in AWE!

Today is day 3 of the 30 day challenge. Not really that cool of a day to post something but I will play by the rules.

We recently just heard about this show and thought we would give it a try. (We do Netflix) And I do like it. :)
